We lived in Upper Coulie in 1985 and 1986 – fantastic times. It was a big farmhouse a couple of miles outside Auchenblae,  great for the kids with open countryside and woods all around. We chose it partly as a base for Ptarmigan Knitwear, our designer knitwear business we created and worked in together for five years.

We bought a trailer tent and went to Kintyre and Gigha with the kids. The Montrose Airfield picture was taken when I was flying microlights from there.
